The first strips of our new comic "Brog the Barbarian", will be released in the following weeks. We hope you will have fun following the adventures of this new character!
Brog, the test character
Before becoming the hero of a comic, the barbarian named Brog was just supposed to be a test character for homebrewed rules. Tired of playing ~mysterious~ thieves and not being able to stay in character, I wanted to try playing a dumb and straightforward character for once. And the dice rolls did not disappoint: my character came out to be super strong and charismatic, but delightfully stupid.
In fact, it was such a fun character to play that it was used as the main character of several campains following that one test session. By the end of the first campain, he already had an overly detailed house and a bunch of animal, monster and human companions. The successive campains were named as follows: "The curse of the seven necromancers", "Brog versus the Grease Gods" and "Brog on Tour". One last campain that was supposed to end the story, called "Brogs unite", was never played in the end by lack of time.
The story
This 4-slot comic will be an adaptation of the first campain that we played, and will follow Brog as he leaves his village to fight the dark magus and stop them from unleashing a terrible curse... Along the way, being charismatic and lucky as he is, he will befriend people more than he will fight them - unless he has no choice but to take the axe out!
Release schedule
One strip will be released every week starting May 2, for ten weeks. The comic will be available both in English and French!
We wish to tie up the story in a total of 80 strips, so Brog still has a long way to go! We hope you will become as fond of him as we are. Leave a comment if you're looking forward to see the story unfold!
